Vases White Uni

First launched in 1957, the 'Mantille' vase features a series of sweeping lines and sculptural forms that allude to the hourglass silhouettes of Christian Dior’s New Look and Cristóbal Balenciaga's flamenco-style evening wear. Designed by Trude Petri and produced by Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin, the white porcelain vase gives the impression of movement thanks to a series of bends and balanced proportions, which together form an object that toes the line between art piece and functional object.
